The Christmas Card That Wasn't ...

We had some photos done at one place (SALE!) but when I tried to scan them for the Christmas card there is an issue with the resolution so ... looks like there may not be a Christmas card this year ...

Turning 8!

I figure a birthday milestone is a good time to get back on board here!
This princess wanted a gecko for her birthday ... I'm not good with reptiles (or rodents), but I did let her have a gecko ... for an hour ... on her birth DAY:

You are one brave and amazing kid!  We love you to the moon and beyond and more than you can ever know!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETHEART!

Final Competition of 2014

Cadence participated in a third and final gymnastics competition for the year.  Here she is rocking the bars, beam and floor ... I always miss the vault shot!

We are very proud of her accomplishments and progress this year!  And we are very happy that she has chosen to continue with the sport again next year.  She is beautiful to watch!!!

First Communion

Cadence officially made her first communion on Mother's Day.  It was a beautiful day shared with special friends and family. Thank you to everyone who travelled from near and far...we are so blessed!

A GREAT big thank you to Auntie Donna for bringing this dress all the way from Cadence's birthplace!

Girl's Weekend!!!!

This year's annual Girl's Weekend took us back to the zoo.  With our FREE admission, we decided to check into the nearest motel for some extra fun ... bed jumping, snacking, movie watching, staying up WAY too late and a dip in the pool!

One of the pandas here was a mere few weeks old and at the Chongqing Panda Zoo when we visited it with Cadence ... kinda cool!
