Crazy Hair???

It ain't the HAIR that's crazy ...

She Insists ...

Cadence insists she NEEDS glasses!!! Seriously, she wore an old pair of my glasses ALL day Saturday (to Costco, to Wendy's, to the ski hill ....). I had to fight her to take them off during her gymnastics class and then hide them once she went to bed. She is not giving up! She continues to tell me her "eyes hurt and she needs glasses". She continues to ask if I've called the eye doctor. Two of her best buddies wear glasses .. FYI!
She is precious I tell you!

On the Way to Nationals ...

or the Olympics!!!!

Cadence's gymnastic club had a photographer at the gym this weekend as a fundraising event.

We didn't order the turkey through the club,

or the fudge,

or the meat products ...

But we DID purchase the CD of ALL the photos taken of Cadence!

Although she didn't cooperate with 'hair', she did manage to look prety adorable nonetheless!

There's no doubt about it ... she's a natural!

Down on the Farm

Last weekend, along with pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating, gymnastics and a staff gathering, we also squeezed in a trip to the farm. I left the big camera at home but did manage to capture a few moments with the phone.
The girls enjoyed the jumping castle...

a magic show, dog show and wagon ride. They also ran along the hay, conquered the corn maze and fed some animals.
They enjoyed making silly faces and filling in holes ...

These girls put in a full afternoon and totally rocked the farm!

That's what her father gave her while I was having a massage! So much for relaxing ....

Tough Week!

Some weeks we try to do our shopping on Friday after school as Saturdays tend to be a tad hectic.
Cadence wasn't quite up to the task ...

I absolutely adore this photo ... she is truly precious!

Her Choice ..

This Halloween Cadence actually got to choose her own costume. She had a fairy in mind from the get go so ... a fairy she was.
As would be expected, there was an abundance of posing once she was in full costume:

She was MOST excited about getting the opportunity to wear REAL make up:
