Cadence and I were playing PlayDoh. She was creating shapes and animals; I was making words and sentences for her to read.
She read: Mom is cool.
Cadence: Mom, do you mean cool like the temperature or cool like a rock star?
Me: Like a rock star!

Yes! And it's BEAUTIFUL!

This morning while Cadence was preparing to brush her teeth, she looked at herself intently in the mirror and asked:
"Mom, do I have a China face?"

"Yes, Cadence, you do. And it is beautiful!"

Just before the 'break' Cadence completed her final ballet class.
She was a joy to watch ...









She enjoyed ballet, but I think she may have enjoyed the final 'treat' a little more ...

MOMMY's been on vacation ... a whole week ... in Cuba ... on a beach!

I will have to spend some time hangin' with my girl to make up for lost time and then I'll get back to posting ........

Despite the guilt ..... I had a GREAT time! Thankfully, so did my future ball hockey star!
