Making Memories in Mexico!

We just returned from a glorious 7 days in the Mayan! We ate, we drank, we swam, we spent time together as a BIG group ... 48!
Cadence got to spend time with her cousins as did the moms and dads. It was another trip of a lifetime.

Thank you to this AMAZING couple for making it all happen ... with style and grace (and a few extra perks).

Congratulations Donna and Mark on your 25th! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this wonderful celebration!

Brilliant Answer!

While on a little road trip to visit some family an hour away Sean asked Cadence a question.

Sean: Cadence, do you know where you are?
Cadence: Daddy, I'm right where I'm supposed to be!

Simply brilliant ...

She's NOT Drowning!

It took me a while to figure out how to capture video, but I did manage to capture a bit worth 'publishing' ...

She's such a little ham!
And quite the fish I might add!

Playing Around ...

Backing Up ...

As I sit and await the return of my darling little family, I find myself with some time on my hands to catch up on some of our summertime fun!

One of our afternoons with the F family was spent down at the waterfront. The kids enjoyed the fountains ... the adults took shelter the shade ... what a HOT one it was!

We explored the ponds and even hit the beach for a bit:

It was the beginning of another great day for our little gang!

Everyone Into the Pool...

That has certainly been the phrase of the summer so far! The weather has been stellar to say the least. We have had tonnes of guests and have been busy in and out of the pool (someone's got to fix the snacks and drinks!). There hasn't been much time to snap photos or post here either ... hence the sparse summer posts.

Cadence mastered swimming within the first couple of weeks and has shed the water wings once and for all ... AMAZING!

We are now getting ready for renos and Mexico and then .... it is back to work! Wow how time flies ...
