We started preparing and practising for school last week, by packing Cadence's lunch box.

Of course we also had to do some 'back to school' shopping! There are a lot of dresses in them there bags...

We are MORE than ready! Bring it on ....

Another Year Has Passed!

Today marks 3 years ... THREE ... since we first held Cadence in our arms! Three years is also the length of time it took from the beginning to the end of the journey. These last three years have certainly passed more quickly than the first three I can tell you!

Cadence continues to bring so much joy and laughter into our home. She is without doubt the perfect child for us! I can't imagine life without her. She is spirited and loving, emotional and comical, smart and silly, cautious and strong, and beautiful inside and out. She has brought more to our lives than I think we could have imagined. She completes us ...

Cadence, you are the best thing that ever came into our lives. We have so many hopes and dreams for you ... the most important of those being that you are happy and know you are loved ... always! We will be forever grateful to your homeland and birth parents for giving us their most precious gift ... you!

Girls Weekend Part 1

A few weeks ago, Cadence and I slipped away for a little 'Girl's Getaway' to visit our BFF and help her shop for a wedding dress.
We started off our day with some pampering:




We then headed to the bridal shop and helped Jody make some careful and wonderful decisions. I have had problems adding those photos here or to a separate post ... If I'm able I'll add them later.
By the end of the day, we let a 'boy' join us ... not just ANY boy ... this one's the groom to be:
