Dance Days

We spent the week preparing for the big show ... practising up doos and makeup and rehearsing routines.

We spent the weekend at the dance recital ... supervising, doing touch ups and costume changes, doling out snacks and drinks and finally watching the show! 

All I can say ... it brought me to tears!

Father's DAYS!

There was double the fun!  Sean's birthday always seems to closely coincide with Father's Day so we did dinner out and dinner in.

Father's Day Funny!

I purchased this as one of the gifts Cadence would give her dad for Father's Day.  The smartie pants actually picked out her own card after reading, ACTUALLY READING, in full, about 6 cards!  After Sean opened this she began to read some of the 'coupons'.  She thought Sean would have to do what the coupons said,  "wash the car" and "clear the dishes", etc.  I explained that the coupons were for her to do those things for daddy.  Without missing a beat, her quick response was, "You bought this book mom, so you have to do them!"  Clever kid!  She noticed there were 2 of every coupon so she decided I would do one and she would do one.  I guess that's fair .....
