If you are in the education field, especially in Ontario, you will undoubtedly know that 'making connections' is one of the buzz phrases of the time. I hate to go all 'teacher' but I also want to share that my Cadence appears to be quite good at making connections despite her mere 3 years of life experience!
I specifically enjoyed the language connection she made yesterday:
Me: Daddy let you _________________________? You are a lucky girl 'cause mom would put her foot down!
Cadence: Well, dad puts his foot up!
Clever kid!
