Reunion Time!

Today we had the priviledge of some very special guests ... our travel companions and friends! It has been almost three years since we all first held our daughters and my how they have grown!
They are now little girls who can play together with minimal parental involvement:

Of course, there has to be more than one princess in the group:

They also enjoyed colouring, crafting, playing the piano, serving their 'restaurant' food and just being typical 3 ... ALMOST 4 year old little girls!

It was truly a lovely afternoon spent catching up on the last year and exchanging the triumphs and tribulations of parenting our little beauties. It was also a joy to watch the girls play and see how well they got along ... poor things were too engaged to even eat any lunch. We all share a special bond ... we are a little family of our own in a way. We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to be able to keep in touch ... I treasure that!

Only regret (besides dumping the entire shrimp ring with sauce on my new dryclean only kitchen mat!) is that we did not get any mom/dad and family shots ... next time ... FOR SURE!

FYI: While writing this I thought I heard Cadence crying out in her sleep. I turned the tv down and went upstairs ... she was LAUGHING! That's a first ... I think it says a lot about today!
